Reports: Sixers trade James Harden to LA Clipper

James Harden, a 10-time All-Star, left the 76ers due to a falling out with Morey and sought a trade to the Clippers.

The 76ers aimed to bolster their lineup around MVP Joel Embiid, trading Ben Simmons for Harden in 2022.

Unfortunately, Harden's injuries and underwhelming playoff performances led to disappointment for Philadelphia.

Instead of opting for free agency, Harden chose to stay for the 2023-24 season.

Harden publicly called out Morey, labeling him a "liar" after a trade dispute.

The departure of Harden simplifies affairs for the 76ers. Tyrese Maxey, a 22-year-old guard, steps up as the No. 2 talent beside Embiid.

The Clippers acquire Harden to join stars Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook.

The Clippers aim to match or exceed their 2021 Western Conference finals run before moving to a new arena in 2024-25.
